Choosing a destination disk for backup files
Once you have selected what files you want to backup, you need to select a back up destination which is usually to another external disk. When backuplist+ launches, it scans for any present disks, networks, drives, or other media. If your destination disk or folder is not present, it will show an alert message.
To select the destination:
1. Drag and drop the destination folder or disk icon into the text field.
2. You can also press the "Browse" button for the open dialog and navigate to the desired destination folder or disk.
3. That's it!
Destinations
- Any removable disk or external drive (USB or Firewire) that is connected.
- An iDisk
- A network drive
- Flash drive
- other storage devices
- Remote internet destination (see setting up remote backups.)
